Farm life series #10: the leaf blower in Spanish agriculture
The hum of the leaf blower continues to fill the peaceful campo on and off all day until the farmer finally leaves to go home. Surely there is no worse sound that a fossil fuel powered leaf blower. The first time I saw him put it on I wondered why would a Spanish olive farmer need this and then I saw him in action.
