Despite the dire news in the latest IPCC report, Governments predominately continue to ignore the reports, continue to sign meaningless agreements to keep targets they have shown no intention of keeping in front of the press.

Accountability is more or less non-existent as public elected politicians continue to uphold the interest of the few against everyone’s interest.

Profit, corruption and the enrichment of the few remains top of the agenda in many countries.

So what now?

We must not give up.

Here is what you can do:

  • Voice your concern for the future: We want to ensure that the world we all inherit is livable and sustainable for generations to come.
  • Social media and awareness: Continue documenting the impact of climate change on a daily basis and continue to speak out about it.
  • Sense of responsibility: Nurture your sense of responsibility to take action and make a difference. The future is at stake, and we want to do what we can to ensure a livable planet for ourselves and future generations.
  • Collaborative activism: Get involved in collaborative activism and are join forces with others to effect change. The sense of community and shared purpose can be a powerful motivator for people to become and remain politically engaged.
