It's a disgrace that her therapist would say such a thing. Even if the child experienced past trauma not having interaction with others who he can identify with is surely a grave mistake. I hope your friend realizes this and changes her mind. On the other hand I am sorry you had to be on the receiving end of such blatant racism from a friend on top of all things.
