Melting Snow and Full Albercas

An alberca is a water deposit and as I write this water is gushing into it as it refills after a day of irrigating the farm terraces.

From the kitchen window it sounds like a waterfall, the sounds of frogs and crickets a symphony with the rushing waters.

Watering comes with active exercise, the opening and closing of the connection…
