Weird and wonderful things about Totnes

As I travel from Southern Spain to Oxford in the UK for a permaculture festival I find myself stopping for a couple of days in Totnes. Since I am here, even though I still have to work from home I would like to see what’s on offer in this lovely town I have heard a lot of good things about.

You can learn how to make a guitar

…at the Totnes School of Guitar Making established in 1985 for a 12 week course the course fee is GBP 5,250 + c. GBP 500 for materials you can go higher if you want more fancy hardware and there is optional accommodation with a family in Totnes for GBP 145 per week.

Join a Cloth Club

This little shop is a mother & daughter business, they sell fabric and sewing bits and also run a cloth club which you can sign up for at GBP 5 per month and get samples from them posted to your door.
