women who suffer abuse and trauma are sometimes not able to see other ways of survival and in a way what they have been doing has served them well - they have survived - they want you to survive too - wha tthey don't see if that perpetuating the cycle might mean survival in the short term but in the long term great sufferining and trauma is passed down the generations - I say break the trauma now. We have suffered enough.
